RFID Windshield Tags
Years ago RFID parking lot or vehicle access lot control operated with RFID High Frequency 13.56 MHz. tags. The vehicle driver pulled up to the reader located a few feet away from the gate or door and then driver held their High Frequency 13.56 MHz. RFID tag close to the reader and the gate or door opened.
That was yesterday and now we don't even have to roll down the window! (which is great if it's raining or even worse - snowing). Our new Gen2 UHF windshield tags can be read from a distance of 6 ~ 7 meters or more away from the reader (18 ~ 22 feet) and the reader does not have to be exposed to the elements. To obtain this distance a specially tuned KSW Windshield inlay is used in the tag.
This is so much easier for the driver. They don't have to roll down their window to get the reader to read the tag. With the longer distance and faster read rate traffic flow into and out of an RFID controlled zone is much faster and safer.

Standard Windshield Tag
These
tags can be produced with your own logo, with or without a bar code and
your choice of up to 4 colors or spot color and four color process.
Standard colors include black, red, yellow, green and blue. Due to contrast needed for the bar code scanner all bar codes are black.
Digital printing for detailed logos or special designs.
All printing is subsurface which provides excellent resistance to solvents, caustics, acids and moderate abrasion.

Destructible Windshield Tag
 When you want a tag that looks exactly like our high quality Standard Windshield Tag but you do not want the tag even used for another  vehicle, then our Destructible Windshield Tag is what you need. This tag is produced identically to our standard tag except that is has special slits in the inlay so that when someone tries to remove the tag it self destructs and can never be used again on another vehicle.
These

Dual Frequency HF/UHF Windshield Tag
 When you want to have our specially tuned UHF Gen 2 Windshield tag for long distance reading at entrances, exits, parking garages, and more, plus you also want the capability of real time parking enforcement this is the tag you need.
This tag has both HF and UHF inlays programmed the same as the Bar Code and Human Readable, making it an excellent choice for access control plus enforcement.
Enforcement officers simply use their SkyRFID 13.56 MHz RFID GPRS equipped Hand Held reader to read the HF ISO 15693 tag ID and then press a single key to check on line real time using the built in GPRS to the central data base. Any information that is required is quickly and easily available.
If the Windshield tag is valid then nothing needs to be done but, if the tag is not valid for that area or is expired, then the officer presses a key on their SkyRFID hand held reader and a tow truck is dispached to the scene.
If there is just a simple infraction, then the officer can leave a ticket attached to the windshield, using a bluetooth printer - no cables required.
Simple, elegant and real time
If you want to provide your own reader instead of the SkyRFID GPRS HF reader, then you can choose from a variety of SkyRFID hand held readers available with bar code or HF only. In fact since we also put the human readable on the front of the tag, you can simply use a PDA and input the human readable infromation to use at a later time.

Disposable Windshield Tag
 Sometimes there is a need for access control and enforcement but only for a very short time. Event parking management, Toll highway management, simply anywhere you may need additional security and controls SkyRFID has our new short term disposable windshield tag.
Coming with black human readable and a preprogrammed RFID UHF inlay this tag is designed to be placed on the outside of the windshield.
Trying to take this tag off destroys the tag as it is very simply constructed and only designed to last for a matter of a few days. Priced just right so it will not cause your security budget to get strained.
Also available in a number of different inlays to match the read distance that you require including additional memory and Higgs3 inlays.
